Secondary Sports Team

At the International School of Turin (IST), every student has the opportunity to challenge themselves, improve and discover their potential through sport. The Secondary Sports Team program allows students from Grade 6 to Grade 12 to practice sport activities, develop essential skills and represent the school in local and international competitions. The school sport clubs are free and take place after school on weekdays.

The seasonal structure allows every student to participate in multiple disciplines throughout the year, adjusting their schedule to the availability of spaces and trainers.

Sport and opportunities for every student

Volleyball

Playing volleyball helps students coordinate movements, communicate with teammates and build team strategies. Each match teaches quick reaction and control under pressure through training and competitions at both a local and international level.

Basketball

Basketball teaches students quick decision-making, managing the game under pressure and collaborating with teammates.
Basketball improves endurance, technique, and adaptation skills in competitive situations.
The discipline is developed through friendly and competitive matches.

Soccer

Students who choose soccer have the opportunity to train both technique, endurance and team spirit. The field becomes a place in which each student can grow, compete and contribute to their team’s success.

More than a sport,
an opportunity to grow

Being part of the Secondary Sports Team means discovering one’s own potential, handling challenges and building a strong team spirit.

The teams, divided between Middle School and High School, allow each student to train, improve and represent the International School of Turin in competitions, living sport as an experience of growth and comparison.
